What is your role at David Jones?
My current role is David Jones’ Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager, [a role I have been in] for the past year, but I have been in the company for seven years.
What does Pride mean to you?
To me, Pride is about our community coming together to celebrate love and diversity. However, it’s so much more than that. Pride is an attitude. There’s so much power in being proud of who you are and what you stand for!
The three words that describe my Pride Mood are:
Loud, Proud, and Elevated!
What’s your Pride 2023 Party Anthem?
My Pride anthem this year, and every year, is “Release Me” by Agnes.
What are your go-to fashion and beauty picks for Pride 2023?
My go-to beauty pick for pride…you can never go wrong with a Tom Ford fragrance!

I’m an SEO Specialist. I started working in this role in October 2022, but I have worked for David Jones for more than 12 years.
What does Pride mean to you?
Celebrating our uniqueness, being inclusive & connecting with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Fun, Gin, and dancing.
What’s your Pride 2023 Party Anthem?

What are your go-to fashion and beauty picks for Pride 2023?
I love the Heritage Pride Stripe Tee from Champion because it’s celebrating Champion’s partnership with the Queer Sporting Alliance. It’s also a super comfy cotton fit, perfect for wearing out and about or lounging at home.

What does Pride mean to you?
Pride to me is being proud of who you are. It’s about not worrying about what others will think of you or being discriminated against based on your race, nationality, religion or sexual orientation.

Confidence, self-respect, and self-pride.

I am the Digital Trade Coordinator for Menswear. I have just hit five years at David Jones.

To me, Pride is about living your truth and authentically being unashamed of living within your true self.

His’Her by Who is Elijah is such a beautiful scent, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It’s unisex and has a beautiful balance of masculine and feminine traits, which is perfect for day or night, or any event…including just being luxurious at home.

I work as an Online Trade Specialist, and I have been in this position for two and a half months

Pride is deeply personal. Pride exists without prejudice. And Pride is knowing shame but choosing to be proud instead.

Solidarity, defiance, and love.

What is your role at David Jones?
I am the Operations Manager at Bondi Junction. I’ve been in this current role for four years and a total of 22 years with David Jones.
What does Pride mean to you?
Pride means many things to me, including being authentic. Authentic at work and socially, to be who I am while recognising the LGBTQ people who came before me, so I [can] be authentic. Pride also means the work we must continue to achieve for equality and to be visible to other people across the world, where it is still illegal in 67 jurisdictions where it is still illegal to be LGBTQ.
Pride is being proud of the role model I am trying to be for other LGBTQ people and supporting trans and gender-diverse people who are still subjected to ongoing discrimination. Finally, Pride means spending time with my biological and ‘chosen’ family who have always accepted me as Craig, no more and no less, just Craig.
The three words that describe my Pride Mood are:
Optimistic, cautious (we don’t go backwards), and excited.
