The coolest menswear to get around as the weather heats up.
A new season is upon us, which means fun new men’s fashion trends to try and cult pieces to wear. So what are the ones most worthy of your wardrobe? We tapped DJ and creative Shayne Tino, and model and actor Josh Heuston for their picks of the season and how they’re wearing them back with the moment’s biggest trends. Plus, we show you how to get the look yourself with a mix of exciting international designers and buzzy local brands.

Retro Future
When it comes to men’s fashion trends this season, tie-dye prints, fluorescent colours and bold graphics reign supreme, in a distinct throwback to ’80s rave culture. Look to international designers Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana and MSGM for cues – then go crazy.
Print Play
Taking joy from unexpected sources has never felt more necessary, and this season’s most playful pieces will turn even the most classic minimalists into (at least part-time) maximalists. One of the quickest ways to achieve the look is with a bold print, and our favourites come care of Dolce & Gabbana’s paisley bandana pattern, Balenciaga‘s bold graphics, and Australian label Double Rainbouu’s good-time garments. DJ and creative Shayne Tino’s pick is this illustrated Balenciaga shirt, a homage to the city of Paris – and a nod to the brand’s French roots.

So Fresh
Pair crisp whites with creamy tones for an understated yet polished summer look. Layer them up for a tonal feel or pair them back with classic denim, and create interest with cool logos and subtle detailing. Look to brands with cult status, such as Saturdays NYC and Rag & Bone, plus international designers such as Balenciaga – its crisp white logo shirt (as seen on Josh, below) will be your wardrobe’s MVP in the warmer months and beyond. Sneakers or your go-to sandal will keep things casual during the day, while a boot will instantly elevate the look for night.
